Goal

This year's conference will be a combination of presentations and working sessions. Our goal is to develop plans for the 2008/2009 academic year for the Accessibility & Usability (A/U) subgroups.

Workshop Objectives

To accomplish our goal, we have the following objectives:

  • Increase understanding, awareness and interest in the A/U group and its subgroups at Michigan State University (this is an ongoing goal for each conference host institution).
  • Inform each other of issues, initiatives and activities related to IT accessibility at our campuses.
  • Formulate subgroup charters, identify areas of interest and/or need, and define subgroup objectives for 2008/2009.
  • Capture the information shared at the conference and put together subgroup action plans for distribution to the A/U group and CIC Chief Information Officers.
